Educating Entrepreneurs
RI-CIE offers a range of mentorship-driven educational programs and networking opportunities to give entrepreneurs a solid foundation in the process of successfully launching and growing an entrepreneurial venture.
RI-CIE program formats:
- Forums: lively panel discussions and company pitches; formal networking opportunities before and after
- Workshops: expert-led sessions targeting specific issues and challenges facing early-stage entrepreneurs
- LunchLabs: casual lunch gatherings led by successful entrepreneurs
Program topics this season will include: making your start-up findable; analyzing market opportunities and size; business model and pricing strategies; business plan financials; convertible debt; customer development; financing your business; funding through SBIR; legal and accounting issues; management team dynamics; patents; product/market fit; scaling a business; team building and hiring; and your IP strategy.
