Mentoring and Connecting
Getting help from experienced mentors can be incredibly valuable to entrepreneurs as they develop,
structure, and fine-tune their ideas. RI-CIE’s network of mentors includes entrepreneurs,
industry experts, designers, and institutional investors. Through hands-on mentoring, entrepreneurs can
learn how to perfect their products and services, identify markets, build business organizations, and seek
funding. Brendan McNally, RI-CIE’s Director, was recently recognized as the 2010 Providence Business
News “Innovation Mentor of the Year”.
RI-CIE's mentoring and connecting services include:
- Office Hours: scheduled sessions for entrepreneurs to get feedback and advice from RI-CIE Mentors
- Mentoring and Support Organizations: RI is home to many helpful mentoring programs and resources
- Opportunity Board: RI-CIE's acts as a clearing-house for job, internship and project opportunties
